The core of my healing began over 10 years ago. It began with an acknowledgment that I was unhappy with my life and that no exterior person or thing was going to “fix me” and make me happy. It was at this impasse in my life that I was challenged to deal with the source of my pain so that healing could begin. This was one of the scariest times of my life, but I was compelled to ACT. So, I did it afraid and with much praying and crying. I will not lie and say that the road was easy; it was not for the faint of heart. However, I will tell you that it was worth it. I have thanked God for the process many times over. Have I arrived, absolutely not. I am a work in progress and am not ashamed to say it. My goal is to be complete and whole, and in turn to help others along the way. I believe that our lives do not belong to us alone, but that we are to share with one another on this life journey. My journey led me to identify my growth process: Pain/Discomfort, Spiritual Journey of Change/Healing, Empowerment/Growth. I have met some spectacular women in my life and wanted to create a safe space for women to come together and support one another. Iron sharpens iron, and that is manifested in a miraculous way in a group setting.
Our professional women’s support group meets on the second Thursday of each month from 7:00–8:00 PM EST. Our group provides a structured, empowering space for women to connect, share experiences, and build meaningful networks. Meeting monthly, the group encourages personal and professional growth by offering peer support, guidance, and opportunities for collaboration. While not a therapeutic group, it fosters a safe, respectful environment where members can discuss challenges, celebrate successes, and learn from one another’s insights. Participation emphasizes confidentiality and mutual respect, ensuring that every member can engage openly and confidently in the group’s discussions.
Well wishes,
